8 Republican House members voted to object to the state’s electoral votes being cast for President-elect Joe Biden. Here is the Playbook. 

8 GOP House Members Voted To Oppose the Election Results in PA: All of the members of the state’s GOP congressional delegation, minus Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Bucks), voted to object to the state’s electoral votes being cast for President-elect Joe Biden. 

House GOP Announces 2021-22 Committee Chairs: 12 members will return to lead the same committees that they were appointed to at the beginning of the previous session, while several members take on new roles.

Kail Named to House Majority Whip Team: According to a release, state Rep. Josh Kail (R-Beaver) has been appointed to serve as a deputy whip for the upcoming session under House Majority Whip Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion). 

Cook Names New Harrisburg Secretary: According to a release, state Rep. Bud Cook (R-Washington) has named Lisa Shenfeld as his Harrisburg secretary.
