An open primary bill advances out of the state Senate Government Committee, while Democrats convene tonight to select a candidate for the upcoming special election in HD85. Here is the Playbook.

Open Primary Bill Advances Out of Senate Government Committee: Nine of the eleven Senators on the committee voted to push forward this piece of legislation along with other election reform bills.

Dems To Select Candidate for HD85: Tonight the PA Democratic Party, along with the Snyder and Union County Democratic Committees, will nominate a candidate to run in the special election to fill the seat vacated by Rep. Fred Keller (R-Snyder). The four candidates vying for the nomination are Bonnie Hamilton, David Heayn, Jennifer Rager-Kay, and Adam Rosinski.
