Kathleen Kane has been keen to note that her opponent in the Democratic primary for Attorney General, Patrick Murphy, has not tried a case in Pa. nor taken the bar exam here. But this morning Kane’s campaign announced an even more startling revelation: Murphy has never actually been to the Keystone state.
“We’ve done extensive research, and we couldn’t find a single time Murphy ever set foot in Pennsylvania,” said Kane communications director Josh Morrow.
Murphy’s campaign dismissed the allegation.
“Patrick has been to Pennsylvania almost a dozen times, as recently as 2005” said spokesman Nat Binns. “He flew from Washington, DC to Boston and had a 45 minute layover in Philadelphia International Airport.”
It’s a crucial issue, Kane emphasized.
“Voters want a prosecutor, not a politician,” Kane said. “They want a candidate who understands the issues that matter most to them: where Patrick Murphy went to law school, and comparative bar exam passage rates in the late 1990s.”

This is a joke, right? Not that I’m crazy about Murphy as a candidate, but he was our congressman here in Bucks County, PA and we visited his offices often with peace action groups. I have seen him here in Bucks County many times. I don’t know much about Kane, but if this story is true the Kane candidacy is not credible.
Of course this is April Fool’s bull, right? Or is my former home of Bucks County (one of the original 3 counties) no longer part of this beautiful Commonwealth? Murphy was my Congressman (D-8) for 2 years.
This is satire, right?
This is PROOF that Patrick Murphy is a baby, unqualified and not handsome enough to be Attorney General.
