The Porn-gate report is finally coming.
At least, that’s the plan for now.
According to Wallace McKelvey of the Patriot-News, the Gansler Report into the pornographic emails being shared between government officials is being released tomorrow.
Attorney General Bruce Beemer has a 10:00 a.m. press conference scheduled Tuesday morning to unveil the report begun by his predecessor Kathleen Kane.
While it is unclear if names will be revealed, the report is about fifty pages and will be accompanied by a disk of appendices and actual emails.
“It’s up to the attorney general to make the final decision but the recommendation made to him by senior lawyers is not to release names,” spokesman Chuck Ardo said Monday. “It will not be a sure thing until the attorney general makes his declaration.”
It should be noted that then-Acting AG Bruce Castor nearly released the report in late August only to reverse course at the last minute. We’ll see if history repeats itself.

i’d certainly like to question judicial candidates and see politicians about porn emails if they are senders or large recipients thereof. its tough to do without names…
these email senders and receivers stole time from their employer (who is us) to dabble in porn. release the names –now. and when the newspapers sue for release of them do not use MY tax money to defend the secrecy of what we the public are entitled to know….
Billy the midget Caye has made a career out of running for Allegheny County Judge but he has been evasive when asked why he left the A.G. Office where he was the kiddie porn prosecutor. If he was an offender who was forced out, the people have a right to know so that they don’t put him back in a position of power. If he was not forced out as a porn perp, then he has a right to have his name cleared. Beemer has only further muddied the waters.
But if the names are redacted how will I know who to appoint to important judicial posts? At least Castille has given me one name.
With all names redacted, this is a Harrisburg equivalent of Jimmy Kimmel’s “Unnecessary Censorship.” Name names and let the chips fall where they should. Taxpayers should be outraged but they won’t be. We’ll see whether Josh has better luck in cleaning house shortly.
Yikes! This could end Little Billy Caye’s eternal campaign for Allegheny County Judge. Mommy and Daddy will not be happy that they raised an aspiring jurist who finds transparency tittilating…at least the tit part.
Kane’s sister Ellen, who worked for the AG’s office before Kathleen was elected, having received emails herself, tipped off Kathleen of their existence. Rather than turn them over to a special investigator or the FBI (possibility kiddy porn) Kathleen decided to selectively leak emails to embarrass rivals or use as leverage with Judges etc.
Kane won’t serve a day in jail! A travesty of justice I might ad! It’s these porn heads who should be in the slammer! Give ’em the death penalty the freakazoids!

Does anyone know if Hillary Clinton will auction off her stool sample to raise money for Kathleen Kane’s legal defense fund? It’s the least she can do for an old friend.
