Democrat Larry Krasner has won the Philadelphia District Attorney race. He will take over after former District Attorney Seth Williams was forced to resign after pleading guilty to federal corruption charges.
With just over 50% of precincts reporting from Philadelphia, Krasner received 71% of the vote. The Associated Press called the District Attorney race for Larry Krasner. Running on a platform of civil rights and equal justice, Krasner was up against Beth Grossman during the race.
The Associated Press called the race just over an hour after polls closed.
