Lentz To Be Joined By Senator Bob Casey for “Food & Phones” on Tuesday

Springfield, PA – Representative Bryan Lentz, the Democratic nominee for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, announced today that U.S. Senator Bob Casey would be stopping by to help rally Lentz’s grassroots supporters during “Food & Phones”, a lunch and phone bank competition beginning at campaign headquarters at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

Lentz’s campaign has generated a strong grassroots following, with volunteers working tirelessly to spread the word about Lentz’s plan to create good-paying jobs and keep our economy moving forward through door-to-door canvassing and daily phone banking. On Tuesday, Lentz for Congress volunteers will compete to contact the most voters before Senator Casey arrives at the end of the competition. The winner of the phone bank competition will receive a personal photo with Casey and Lentz.

Senator Casey has been a leading advocate for Wall Street reform and programs that have helped generate jobs. He has introduced and supported legislation that has provided companies with tax breaks for hiring new workers, loan guarantees for small businesses, funding for job training, and help for homeowners struggling with the threat of foreclosure.

A former Airborne Ranger, criminal prosecutor and Iraq War veteran, Bryan Lentz currently serves in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from Delaware County. He was awarded both the Bronze Star for Service and the War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal for his military service. He lives in Swarthmore with his wife Jennifer and their son Thomas.
