McCormick Not Gaining Ground on Oz

With 27 of the 67 counties in the Commonwealth reporting, Dave McCormick has not picked up significant ground in the recount of the Republican Senate recount against Mehmet Oz.

In a comparison of the data provided by the Department of State’s election reporting website and updated information available on county election websites, McCormick has picked up only 15 votes on Oz on a deficit of 902 ballots.

McCormick picked up 13 votes on Oz in Allegheny County and an additional 12 in Lehigh County. Oz negated those gains with a +23 pickup in Philadelphia.

On average, McCormick needed to gain 14 votes per county to overtake Oz in the race.

  1. “27 of 67 counties”? Uh, dude, that leave 40 counties to go, which is more than have reported. And likely the 27 reporting were dinky rural counties with few people to count. Your logic is plainly stupid.

    1. Phila County and Allegheny County and Bucks County have reported and they are big counties. You need a transcribing error or some gaffe but it does not appear as of now.
