Moving On: An Update for PoliticsPA

Just under a year and a half ago I went from loyal reader to Managing Editor of PoliticsPA, and today I say thank you as I transition to a new job.

I want to take the chance to let our readers know I am moving into a job in the state House for Speaker Mike Turzai.

I am immensely thankful for my time at PoliticsPA, it has helped me grow as a writer, a reporter, and a person.

First off I would like to thank Keegan Gibson, who helped me get settled into the role and giving me guidance throughout my tenure.

Also, a massive thank you to the owners of PoliticsPA, Larry Ceisler, Jeff Jubelirer, and David Urban, for giving me the opportunity with the site and the freedom to make it my own.

And a final thank you to all of PoliticsPA’s readers who read our articles, left comments, and gave their feedback.

Starting Monday, Kelly Cernetich Brown will lead the site as interim Managing Editor.

I am extremely excited to see what the future has to hold for PoliticsPA as it transitions to new leadership and seeing what they do to continue to grow and build the website’s insights.

  1. Good Luck Paul. Turzai is lucky to have you. Maybe he will even listen to you!

  2. Paul-

You seem like far too decent a guy to work for Turd’s eye.

Please try to convince him to resign or, if not, act in the interest of the citizens rather than his donors or his failed ideology.

    1. Wasn’t your comment a bit mean-spirited? Why not just congratulate instead of trying to make a political point?

      1. My point was that I consider Paul too good a man to work for someone like Turd’s Eye.

  3. Best wishes on your next adventure Paul! Speaker Turzai surrounds himself with upstanding folks. You will be a terrific addition to his team.

    1. Agreed 100%. Some folks don’t know when to turn it off nor do they know how. It’s good to see people do well and it’s better to hear good news than bad news. So, good luck with the new job.

    1. And rather ironically it was in the sentence about how he has grown as a writer.

  4. Wow, bad move by Turzai. I know of at least two GOP individuals who have taken multiple inaccurate cheap shots from this bozo in his Ups & Downs arrows and I know Turzai will get less money as a result. That’s guaranteed. Paul made some dumb moves and it will be a bumpy ride and follow him for his whole career.
