NBC/WSJ/Marist Poll: Clinton 48% Trump 37%

Hillary-Clinton HappyThe sixth straight poll to show Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump in the Keystone State came out this afternoon.

Previously, Suffolk, PPP, F&M and Susquehanna all released surveys with the former Secretary of State ahead. Then earlier today, Quinnipiac did the same.

Now the newest NBC/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll has Clinton ahead of Trump 48% to 37%.

In a four-way race Clinton gets 45% compared to Trump’s 36%. Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson sits at 9% while Green Party nominee Jill Stein received 3%.

Last month, the group had Hillary ahead by nine points in the two-way contest and eight points in the lead when Johnson and Stein were included.

Marist found 43% have a positive view of the Democratic nominee while 53% have a negative view. On the other hand, just 31% have a positive view of the Republican nominee against 63% who have a negative view.

NBC/Marist surveyed 834 registered Pennsylvania voters from August 3rd to 7th. The margin of error is +/-3.4%.

  1. Trump should already be in jail for suggesting people use guns against Hillary Clinton.

But an arrest would bail him out from the beat-down he is about to get. I’m all for the beat-down over the arrest.

    So – “Don’t Lock Him Up” … “Don’t Lock Him Up” …

  2. Trump will come out of this a total loser. He already has been exposed as a bigot and a fraud. His post-campaign customer base is dwindling. He is an asshole. And more and more people are seeing that truth now. He will regret doing this.

Lord knows the Republicans regret nominating him.

  3. George W. Bush’s approval rating for his second term averaged 37 percent and bottomed out around 24 percent in October 2008. There is time yet for Mr. Trump to descend further. I’m not sure how much further he can sink beyond mocking a Gold Star family and making barely-veiled suggestions that someone shoot his opponent, but then again, Mr. Trump has an impressive knack for proving one wrong when one thinks he cannot possibly sink any lower.

  4. So much for the rust belt strategy. The 1.8 million voters in the Philly suburbs are not fans.

  5. And the slaughter begins …,

Trump and his stubby fingers will never get near the nuclear codes.
