NEW AD: Trivedi’s Listening. Gerlach Clearly Isn’t.

Gerlach’s Record Shows He Went to Washington and Stopped Listening to the 6th. Trivedi Will Change That.

ELVERSON, Pa. – Manan Trivedi has been listening to the people of the 6th District. That’s how he knows that they’re frustrated with Washington — and he shares that frustration. In this latest ad, Trivedi highlights Gerlach’s record of voting again and again with Washington special interests instead of the 6th District. Trivedi will end those Washington ways.

“We can’t change Washington until we change who we send down there,” Trivedi says in the ad.

The new ad, which went up on air last night and is running across Pennsylvania’s 6th District, is Trivedi’s fifth ad of the general election.

The ad, “Listening,” can be viewed here. Read the script below.

Manan Trivedi: If Congress were listening to us?

They wouldn’t give tax breaks for outsourcing our jobs.

Or take pay raises, then vote against the minimum wage for everyone else.

But Jim Gerlach went to Washington — he stopped listening — and did it anyway…

As a battalion surgeon in Iraq, I did more with less.

So until those jobs come back home, I’ll take a pay cut.

I’m Manan Trivedi. I don’t approve of Jim Gerlach’s Washington ways, but I approve this very clear message…

We can’t change Washington until we change who we send down there.
