November 27th Playbook

Politico labels President Donald Trump and two congressional races in the state as toss-ups for 2020, while a Schuylkill County Democrat announces he will not seek reelection in the state House. Here is the Playbook. 

Politico Labels Fitzpatrick, Perry Races as Toss Ups: In debuting their initial 2020 election forecast, they placed two of the Congressional races as toss-ups, while labeling Pennsylvania as one of six states that are toss-ups for President Donald Trump’s reelection bid.

Oakmont Councilwoman Launches GOP Bid Against Dermody: In a release about her intentions for the seat, the GOP hopeful said she cares about lowering real estate taxes, protecting public education and improving healthcare.

Legislative Election Update: 
HD-123: State Rep. Neal Goodman (D-Schuylkill) announced that he will not be seeking reelection in 2020. Goodman, who was first elected to the state House in 2002, represents a district that voted for President Donald Trump in 2016 by over 30 points.
