NRSC Chairman Cornyn Congratulates Senator-Elect Pat Toomey In Pennsylvania

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), released the following statement in response to Pat Toomey’s (R-PA) victory in Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate race:
“Pennsylvanians sent a clear message tonight when they elected former businessman Pat Toomey to the U.S. Senate. Pat won this race by focusing his campaign on the issues that matter most to the voters in his state: spurring job creation, lowering taxes, reducing the size of government, and driving down America’s debt. I look forward to working with Senator-elect Toomey to fight for the fiscal accountability that Pennsylvanians deserve.”
