PA Gov: Wagner Stars in Latest Wolf Ads: In his latest attack ads, the governor highlights some of Wagner’s more memorable moments on film. Wagner’s newest ad advocates for eliminating school taxes on people’s homes.

PA7: Wild Seeks Distance From Pawlowski in Latest Spot: The thirty second ad features Joe Khan, the lead prosecutor in the federal probe of Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski and former Philadelphia Democratic candidate for District Attorney.

Trump Tweets “Total Support” For 2 PA GOP Congressional Candidates: President Trump tweeted his “total” support for Rep. Lloyd Smucker (R-Lancaster) and 8th Congressional District candidate John Chrin yesterday. Eric Trump and Vice President Mike Pence joined Chrin this week in Northeastern PA. Pence rallied with Smucker and Rep. Scott Perry (R-York) in Lancaster County.  

Pennsylvanians Investing in Texas Dems: FiveThirtyEight’s article, “How ActBlue Is Trying To Turn Small Donations Into A Blue Wave” includes Pennsylvania among the top ten states in number of contributions sent to Texas House and Senate races through ActBlue since Jan. 2017. PA finished 9th on this list.

Pennsylvania SDCC Releases New Attack Ad Hitting Senate GOP on Abuse Bill: The ad will run on Philadelphia-area TV and statewide digital.

Wagner To Rally With Diamond & Silk in Philly: GOP gubernatorial candidate Scott Wagner will be campaigning with conservative commentators Diamond and Silk at the Hilton on City Ave in Philadelphia tonight at 7pm.    

In three years, fentanyl has taken over Pennsylvania, rising from about a quarter of all overdose deaths in 2015 to two-thirds in 2017: The Philadelphia Inquirer’s story, “How fentanyl, the deadly synthetic opioid, took over Pennsylvania” takes a look into the impact it is having on the state and breaks it down by the county over the past couple of years.

SD-38: The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry releases an ad pegs Democratic candidate, Lindsey Williams as someone who “wants to change the Constitution,” while touting Republican candidate Jeremy Shaffer as “mainstream” and a job creator in Western Pennsylvania.
