Ashley Ehasz, a Democratic candidate for the 1st Congressional District seat held by Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-01), rolled out a slate of endorsements today from area elected Democratic women of the Pennsylvania State Legislature.
Sen. Maria Collett (D-Montgomery), Rep. Tina Davis (D-Bucks), and Rep. Melissa Cerrato (D-Montgomery) all came out in support of the former combat veteran who fell short in a run against Fitzpatrick in 2022.
“I am so proud that these strong women in the legislature have endorsed my candidacy,” said Ehasz, “In Congress, I am committed to work alongside them to deliver for the people of Pennsylvania’s First District. Senator Collett, Rep. Davis, and Rep. Cerrato know I’ll fight for our community in Washington just as hard as they will fight here in Pennsylvania, and I’m grateful for their support. Today seemed like the perfect day to celebrate these badass women in elected office,” she said referring to the opening of the “Barbie” movie on Friday.
“As a former nurse, I know Ashley will be the best ally for both patients and healthcare providers in Washington,” said Collett. “Ashley knows that all healthcare decisions must be between a woman and her provider. In Congress, Ashley will protect our right to choose, keep healthcare affordable, and protect our essential workers, and I am proud to endorse her.”
“I’m endorsing Ashley because I know she will work hard in Washington to provide sorely needed resources for working families here at home in Bucks County,” said Davis. “Our families and children deserve a member of Congress who will find every opportunity to give them tax relief, affordable healthcare and lower prescription drug costs, and good union jobs.”
Cerrato added, “As a combat veteran, Ashley knows what it means to serve, and that is what we need in Congress right now–a public servant, not a politician, to protect Pennsylvanians, and all Americans, and ensure that we all have access to safe and affordable healthcare, and can live with dignity and respect, no matter how much money you have in your pocket.”
Fitzpatrick defeated Ehasz, 55-45, in the 2022 general election. He currently sits on a war chest of $2.88 million. Ehasz raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars last cycle and has $153,599.31 cash on hand.

Have to love the Bucks County Democrats, they just continually run absolutely terrible candidates. Santarseiro is no better than Cordisco. They both have one thing in common – they each love themselves more than anything else.
With that brain squad endorsing you…
