Nick Troiano, the Independent candidate from Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, released a new web ad today.
Just in time for Halloween, the two-minute video features “PAC-Man Marino” and his special interest ghosts marching in local Halloween parades.
The video points out that four corporations, including AT&T and National Beer Wholesalers Association, have donated over $1 million to Marino’s campaign. Toriano also points out that Marino co-sponsored the SOPA bill, which would regulate the internet, and that 16 corporations, including Comcast and Time Warner, contributed $91,000 to Marino.
Local constituents are also interviewed, telling why they believe money and large businesses are corrupting the election process.
“Campaign contributions really turn how a politician views certain things”, says one man, while another says, “I think its just corrupt.”
The ad concludes on a black screen with the following: “Vote for Nick Troiano. No contributions from PACs, Lobbyists, corporations, or unions. Just – We, the people.”
