As has become custom, Ryan Costello’s campaign decided to focus their final ad on a positive message.
In this case, his wife Christine delivered a testimonial about her husband, the GOP nominee for the 6th congressional district.
“Ryan is extremely passionate about public service,” she begins. “It’s in his heart. He’s thoughtful and he listens and he wants to do the right thing, he wants to help people.”
“He believes in the people who go to work every day and fight do the right thing for their families,” she concludes.
The thirty-second spot, titled “The Right Thing”, is an attempt to humanize the candidate. Furthermore, the familiar tactic of ending with a positive ad seeks to wash out some of the negative tone that takes over these electoral contests and hopefully inspire people to vote on Election Day.
Costello is running against Iraq War veteran and Democratic nominee Manan Trivedi to represent Pennsylvania’s Sixth Congressional District.
