PA-Gov: Wolf Makes a Typo

Tom-Wolf sadWith a ton of agencies in the executive branch and plenty of chairmen, it should be expected that a Governor may forget a specific agency head; in fact, it is a shock that it does not happen more often.

Governor Wolf sent Bill Green, chairman of the School Reform Commission, a letter today dismissing Green from the position. He thanked Green for his service….and that was it.

Only one problem: Gov. Wolf thanked Green for serving as Chairman of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Wolf’s press secretary, Jeffrey Sheridan, corrected the mistake in an email, and the correct letter was sent.

Green announced last night that he is planning to sue Wolf over the decision.

A copy of the letter, obtained by Citified, can be found here.

  1. I believe the legal argument is that Skitt’s Law, a corollary of Murphy’s Law, applies to this article.
