PA-Sen: Casey Goes After Trump

Bob Casey“You built that, you built that candidacy.”

That’s Senator Bob Casey’s message to Republicans in regards to Donald Trump.

Yesterday, Sen. Casey appeared with fellow Democratic Senators Chuck Schumer and Debbie Stabenow to argue that Trump is not an outlier but rather any embodiment of the modern GOP.

According to the commonwealth’s senior Senator the Republicans “scorched earth” opposition to any of President Obama’s proposals led to their current situation.

“Senate Republicans have been governing from the ‘Trump Textbook’ for years,” Senator Schumer said.

Casey also asserted that the GOP has no new domestic policy ideas and that when it comes to foreign policy, Republicans have offered “a lot of hot air, a lot of yelling and screaming, but no plan.”

This represents Casey’s first major foray into the presidential election and likely forecasts his campaign strategy from now until November 8th.

Dems need to wait on releasing the damaging material (like the publicist stuff) until after the Convention.

Trump is the candidate the GOP deserves.

    bungy

Danno from Hawaii 50 wouldn’t book that.

Clinton landslide is more likely. 320 electoral votes.

  11. bungy says:

Not me at 4:06, probably Brett the CONVICTED FELON(thanks to FINA). Trump in a LANDSLIDE. Book It.

  12. HaHaHa says:

Sandra – I hope more Americans express themselves the way you have.

This election is a chance to renounce the stuff Trump stands for (if in fact he stands for anything).

  13. Sandra Muc says:

Trump is not a good example of a human being much less than a President. The GOP has shown the same lack of respect for our President that Trump has shown for minorities, religions, women, children. How he loves the under educated! He is so smart-so smart-and handsome too. He has shown lack of knowledge in foreign affairs and I probably know more bills than he does. He calls newspapers and pretends to be someone else just to keep his name in the papers. I hope the GOP will not stand behind him and perhaps split the party to run against him. I think after 227 years its time to elect a woman- Hillary. I hope you can organize enough Dems together to go public about Donald. I think he is a dangerous man. Thank You!

  14. Debra Sterling says:

#WeAreTheTrueRevolution .. Electing the First Woman President of the United States of America. #DonTheCon … I guess anyone that thinks Donald Trump is “telling it like it is” has never been in a relationship with a psychopath .. they are wonderful at manipulating people to get their own needs satisfied. And their opinion & Agenda can turn on a dime. I love you … I hate you … If people honesty think DJT is honest and trustworthy .. boy are you in for a surprise. There are Red Flags being thrown up over & over again and you still walk to the flame .. just don’t come crying when you get burned. I have to admit .. he’s good .. if he can con the American Public in believing that “no experience” is a good thing when it comes to being elected to the most powerful position in the World…what can you say? He must have been one hell of a used car salesman in a previous life.

Who knew Pennsylvania had TWO senators?

  17. gulagPittsburgh says:

bungy: You might want to re-read the postings and think again whether you agree with Crawford.

  18. bungy says:

Agree with Crawford. Trump has always been rich (born that way). Trump doesnt know what working families go through. He probably has dead gerbils in his ass too (with the silver spoon). #NeverTrump

  19. David Diano says:

    Jim Crawford-

    Using your own words:

Trump “has had a silver spoon in his ass for his whole life. Do you really think someone like [Trump] knows the pain and struggles working families face everyday?”

I think Trump has CAUSED a lot of pain to struggling working families who are unpaid at his hotels/properties and tenants try to make rent (or he tried to force out to sell the building).

  20. Jim Crawford says:

Senator Casey is a classic case of what is wrong with Government today. Here is a Guy who has NEVER held a Outside of Government Job and has had a silver spoon in his ass for his whole life. Do you really think someone like Casey knows the pain and struggles working families face everyday? I don’t care if you vote Democrat or Republican just vote people like Casey out of Office.

  21. CentralPAPepublican says:

Hate to say it. But Casey is correct. The GOP had this coming.
