The Senate Majority PAC is up with another attack ad against Sen. Pat Toomey.

The thirty-second spot references a new piece from Kevin Robillard of Politico concerning Toomey’s ownership of $500,000 to $1 million worth of stock in Team Capital Bank while also serving on the Senate Banking Committee.

“Do you own a plane? Do you own a bank? Pat Toomey owned both,” the narrator begins. “But it’s the fact that Toomey owns a seat in the U.S. Senate that should really concern us. While on the Senate Banking Committee, Pat Toomey voted to re-write rules to help bankers like him. And he tried to eliminate protections put in place to stop Wall Street’s risky practices.”

“Pat Toomey, looking out for Wall Street and himself, not Pennsylvania,” the narrator concludes.

The commercial is set to run in the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Scranton and Johnstown media markets as part of a $10 million reservation.

“Pat Toomey has been leading the fight to make sure taxpayer bailouts of big banks never happen again, while Katie McGinty wants to codify them permanently into law so everyone is on the hook for reckless banks’ risky behavior,” Toomey Spokesman Ted Kwong responded. “It’s McGinty whose actions in Harrisburg were denounced by the State Ethics Commission and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. These phony charges are getting more and more desperate as her campaign sinks.”
