The Senate Majority PAC is back with a new TV ad criticizing GOP incumbent Sen. Pat Toomey and praising Democratic nominee Katie McGinty.
The thirty-second spot first seeks to undercuts negative commercials that have aired against McGinty before transitioning to attacking Toomey.
“[The ads] are funded by Wall Street fatcats, helping Pat Toomey,” the narrator asserts. “Toomey’s Mr. Wall Street.”
The commercial then goes into McGinty’s by now familiar familial background and states that she’ll stand up to Wall Street.
This spot is part of the group’s original $1.2 million TV ad buy, which was given another $220,000, and this commercial will also air in the Pittsburgh and Scranton markets.

o great. we have ads from toomey showing revolving – door katie in her fur coat and sunglasses taking 100K+ salaries as a lobbyist , and ads from katie claiming toomey actually made lots of money on wall street! how shocking that politicians are actually in it for t he money and not to do good for the people.
so most folks will just sit out this election entirely.
jmarshak – Toomey was the prototypical Wall Street broker slinging derivatives before it was cool. You don’t get much more Wall Street than that. Politifact debunked his nonsense claiming Clinton made more off of Wall Street than he did. He likely made a mint, which, judging from his financial disclosures, he did. Toomey’s fortune is from working on Wall Street.

They want us to vote for McGinty because Toomey is too close to Wall Street. But they also want us to vote for Hillary despite the fact that she’s way closer to Wall Street than Toomey could ever be.
