Katie McGinty had no problem bringing in the dough this summer.

Her campaign has revealed that they raised $6.3 million during the third fundraising quarter which ran from July 1st to September 30th.

$5.2 million of that total came through the McGinty campaign while another $1.1 million was the product of a joint fundraising agreement with the PA Democratic Party.

This is a significant improvement from 2016’s second quarter, when she raised $2.8 million.

The campaign stated that the median contribution was $10 and they have now received over 70,000 individual contributions since McGinty entered the race.

“Our fundraising this quarter really matched the success of the rest of the campaign,” said McGinty Communications Director Sean Coit. “We’re ahead of Pat Toomey in nearly every poll, Pat Toomey’s tripping over himself trying to avoid Donald Trump, and Katie’s been traveling all across Pennsylvania talking to voters about the issues that matter to them. Pat Toomey is losing, he’s desperate, and he’s acting like it. Our campaign is stronger than ever.”

  1. Toomey is a LOSER. So is Trump. They deserve to go down together in each other’s arms.

  2. KSDF-

With only a month to go, I would expect that most of the COH is already spent on ads and lit for October.

Unlike 2010, this is a presidential year with lots more Dem turnout, so as long as you have enough to get your message out, you don’t have to worry as much about GOTV.

  3. I don’t get why Katie’s getting stomped in the polls. She’s a corrupt, power-hungry, talentless Democrat just like Kathleen Kane. Why isn’t she doing better?
