Current Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse won the Democratic primary.
Papenfuse beat four challengers in the race, receiving 2,536 of the votes cast with all precincts reporting. Gloria Martin-Roberts came in second with 1,999.
I want to thank everyone for their support this evening,” Papenfuse said in a Tweet.
Republicans did not run a candidate in the race, making Papenfuse’s re-election seem relatively secure.
