Pence To Campaign in Western PA on Wednesday

Vice President Mike Pence will make a swing through western Pennsylvania on Wednesday.

According to a release from the Trump campaign, Pence will head to Beaver County to headline a “Workers for Trump” event at PennEnergy Resources Natural Gas Producing Well, No. B24 on Wednesday afternoon. Pence is set to tout the Trump administration’s energy policies at the event.

Pence will also meet with leaders from the Susan B. Anthony List, a pro-life organization, to rally support for pro-life matters at Cornerstone Ministries in Westmoreland County. The event is a part of the SBA List’s multi-state “Life Wins!” tour. In addition to the visit from Pence in the state for the tour, SBA List also announced a six-figure newspaper ad buy covering the following nine papers – The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Erie Times-News, The Scranton Times-Tribune, Allentown’s The Morning Call, Lower Bucks Times, Delaware County Daily Times, The Tribune-Review, and Valley News Dispatch.

Both campaigns are set to be in Pennsylvania this week.

Former Vice President Joe Biden will be joining a virtual event from the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO headquarters in Harrisburg on Monday afternoon to talk with AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, take questions from union members, and “recognize America’s working families on Labor Day.”  On Friday, both President Donald Trump and Biden will be in Shanksville to visit the site of the Flight 93 National Memorial on September 11.

Biden, Pence, and Trump all made appearances in Pennsylvania last week as well.

Last Tuesday, Pence headlined a “Workers for Trump” event in Luzerne County, where he dubbed Northeast Pa., where Biden was born, as “Trump country.” Trump held a rally in Westmoreland County last Thursday where he touted his administration’s energy policies, while boosting a “law and order” message.

Biden’s most recent visit to the state was in western Pa last Monday where the Democratic presidential nominee delivered an address in Pittsburgh pinning the blame on Trump for nationwide violence.

Recent polling indicates that Biden has the slight edge over Trump in the state. The Real Clear Politics Average shows Biden besting Trump by 4.2 points in Pennsylvania.

  1. Pence’s wife out on the town is going to the Crackle Barrel for dinner and 3 hours of shopping at their gift shop.

  2. Pence is a putz. Never accomplished anything positive in his entire life. Has to get wife’s permission for whatever he does and Trump’s permission for whatever he says. Total LOSER.
