Pence to Speak at Flight 93 Memorial on 9/11

Vice President Mike Pence will speak at the annual September 11 Observance at Flight 93 National Memorial near Shanksville.

The ceremonies, beginning at 9:45 am Wednesday, will include speeches from Pence, U.S. Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt, Reverend Paul Britton and Gordon Felt of Families of Flight 93, and Mitchell Zuckoff, author of “Fall and Rise: The Story of 9/11.”

At 10:03 am, names of the 40 passengers and crew members who died in the crash, will be read.

Last year’s ceremony included speeches from President Donald Trump, Gov. Tom Wolf, former Gov. Mark Schweiker, and previous United States Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke. Pence most recently spoke at the ceremony in 2017

  1. History is not going to look kindly on Mike Pence. When the Trump era is over, the establishment is going to distance themselves from Trump, just like they did with war-criminal Bush, but it’s going to be hard for Pence to do that.

  2. Lots of big barns with big TRUMP signs on them in that area. But not a Pence to be seen. Happy trails, husbaanf of Mother.
