Judge David Wecht, Democratic candidate for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, received the endorsement of the Pennsylvania chapter of the National Organization of Women on Thursday.
“We are thrilled to have a strong candidate running for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania,” said PA NOW Co-Chair Helene Ratner. “We greatly appreciate your support and commitment to women’s issues.”
In response, Judge Wecht said, “I am thrilled to receive the endorsement of Pennsylvania NOW and greatly appreciate NOW’s recognition of my commitment to women and family issues during my time on the bench.”
Judge Wecht was recently rated ‘Highly Recommended’ by the PA Bar Association and has also scored the endorsements of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party and Pennsylvania AFL-CIO.
Earlier this month, he won the support of Senator Bob Casey.
