Jim Kenney is back on TV with a new commercial that features State Rep. Dwight Evans and Councilwoman Marian Tasco, two prominent figures in Northwest Philadelphia politics who’ve endorsed the ex-Councilman.

In an email to supporters Kenney remarked that he is “proud to have their support because all neighborhoods do matter, and I’ll fight for every single one of them.”

The ad, which is titled “Heart,” presses on the importance of every individual Philadelphia neighborhood.

“Jim knows that neighborhoods matter, all neighborhoods matter,” begins Rep. Evans.

“I know what’s in Jim’s heart,” Councilwoman Tasco continues. “He sat next to me in City Council for 23 years.”

The thirty-second spot also highlights Kenney’s desire for universal pre-kindergarten education, an end to stop and frisk policing, and policies to “create jobs to sustain families.”

“None of this is gonna be easy,” Kenney concludes while echoing his first ad. “I’ll make the hard choices we need to make this city the best it can be.”
