PoliticsPA Internship Opening: Fall 2015

interns_wantedAre you a young politico with a talent for and desire to write about the political events of the Keystone state?

If so, we have just the opportunity for you.

PoliticsPA is seeking talented individuals to contribute to our news coverage throughout the Commonwealth.

Interns will have the chance to gain journalism experience and a stronger understanding of Pennsylvania politics. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to build a portfolio with published writing.

Internship openings are available for the Fall 2015 semester. The position is flexible and interns work remotely, so applicants are welcome from anywhere in PA as well as Washington, DC. The position is unpaid.

We have a budget fight in Harrisburg, a trial for the Attorney General and the upcoming 2016 battles to cover, so the next few months should be particularly exciting.

To request an application, please contact us via the PoliticsPA contact form. The deadline to apply is August 28, 2015.

  1. Seeking: 17 year old know-nothings eager to be the mouthpiece for a worthless blogger hack and his evil media overlord. No skills necessary. Failure to recognize nuance a plus. Salary commensurate with experience.

  2. Doesn’t this solicitation for grass roots news also require PoliticsPA and young but partisan Nick Field to have an open mind about submitted news items? Nick’s predecessor was excellent. Now it appears if a submitted article doesn’t help one particular party, Nick just blows it off.
