The children of the late Jack Pidgeon sued former state treasurer Barbara Hafer today, alleging that Ms. Hafer, their step-mother, took advantage of Mr. Pidgeon’s declining health to ensure that funds intended for his children and grandchildren instead benefited her and her daughter.  Read more.
