Quinnipiac Poll: 50% Want Kane to Resign

Kane-sadThe Attorney General’s numbers just keeping getting worse.

The latest Quinnipiac Poll reveals that half of Pennsylvanians believe that Kathleen Kane should step down.

While 50% believe she should resign, just 26% are against such a move.

Support for a Kane resignation runs across the demographic board. Even a plurality of Democrats (45/34) and women (47/25) want the AG to leave.

Kane’s approval rating also hit a record low of 23% with 51% disapproving.

Perhaps worst of all is the fact that her numbers keep slowly but consistently falling over time despite the fact that she declared she won’t run for re-election.

Given such awful numbers, it is likely that the incumbent will play a major role in the campaigns of Republican nominee John Rafferty and Democratic nominee Josh Shapiro as they each try to make the case that they can restore dignity to the office.

This survey was conducted by Quinnipiac University using live interviewers calling land lines and cell phones from April 27th to May 8th. They contacted 1,077 registered voters. The margin of error is +/- 3%.

  1. Hey Sponge Bob aka Unsanctioned R(etard). This story is about you. You gonna stay away from pet stores when you are released?

NY DAILY NEWS — A deranged man who enjoys dressing up as a dog was arrested early this month for having sex with a cat on several occasions, authorities said.

Ryan Havens Tannenholz, a self-identified “furry,” or someone who wears anthropomorphic animal fur suits, was charged with six felony counts of crimes against nature and one misdemeanor count of cruelty to an animal.

Police say the Boise man, 28, sexually abused the cat multiple times between January 2012 and January 2013. After an extensive investigation, police secured an arrest warrant July 31 and arrested him the following day.

“It just means that at this point was the time when they had probable cause to do the arrest,” the Deputy Prosecutor reported.

Tannenholz portrays himself as a black and white husky he calls SpongeBob, a blue fox he calls Unsanctioned R or an unnamed purple canine, according to the furry community news magazine “Flayrah.”

He could face up to five years in prison for each of the felony counts and up to six months and a fine for the misdemeanor.

Tannenholz’s bond was set at $250,000, and his preliminary hearing is set for Friday.

Diano , I noticed what you wrote about having a IP address and the fact that you reported it to a Government Agency. Clearly, you have no information that would tie this person to your frivolous allegation. Since this person has been a champion of the rights of mentally handicapped children and you have spent your time ridiculing them in many ways under many names I thought it only right to explore a complaint against you with the EEOC. Here’s the applicable section.
Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA)
This law makes it illegal to discriminate against a qualified person with a disability in the private sector and in state and local governments. The law also makes it illegal to retaliate against a person because the person complained about discrimination, filed a charge of discrimination, or participated in an employment discrimination investigation or lawsuit. The law also requires that employers reasonably accommodate the known physical or mental limitations of an otherwise qualified individual with a disability who is an applicant or employee, unless doing so would impose an undue hardship on the operation of the employer’s business.
You retaliated by your complaint against a person who complained about discrimination. Employment is not an issue in this section just the statement is enough.
Dicki that’s you. Remember all those R words statements made by you. They were captured along with a program that captures IP addresses (which come back to you) well. Diano mommy is gonna be mad at you. Maybe Philly Lawyer can help unless he’s being investigated for practicing law without a license.
You be well DIANO Oh this whole thing came from one of those meetings you claim we never had.Maybe we’ll read about you soon.

  3. DumberThanBagOfTrumpHats-

    1) I didn’t have any posts removed.
    2) rskarloff made a comment about getting some of your posts removed. maybe that was one of them
    3) I never called any children “retards”, so there is nothing to complain about in the first place.
    4) There is no crime/statute/etc that prohibits the free speech of using that terminology.
    5) I’m sure the Feds will get right on that, after they shut down all the sites, and round up all the people that have referred to Obama with the n-word.

  4. Dicki Diano Why did you have the post removed about the complaint made to the Federal Government regarding you calling little children with mental defiencies as “retards” I’ll say it so some people may not know the “R” looks like I’m gonna be interviewed made sure I kept your posts matched with your IP address. You must really be proud of yourself.

  5. Kane took out 2 Supreme Court justices and exposed the web of racist/bigoted/sexist emails that have been circulating through the halls of justice.

No other AG has come close to that.

So, yeah, she is the best.

Does ANYONE here think that her primary opponent Pat Murphy would have exposed this? Or her GOP opponent (Freed?)

Or that Shapiro or Rafferty will pursue/uncover anything similar?

AG Josh will be too busy trying to run for governor and looking over his shoulder as the FBI investigation follows the web of Rendell associates and looks into why Josh got $100,000 from the charter school PAC (and delayed reporting it).

  6. “Let’s agree that Kane is the best AG we’ve ever had,” said Democrat primary voters.

  7. Dicki Diano. Make sure you put that portion of the Child Predator Unit in your notes and keep mentioning it so it can be proven whatt an ass you are. My apologies to donkeys. I guess it could be said that someone posted that you sleep with your mom and read her your street lists to put her to sleep and you never denied that statement Guess it’s true using the Dicki Diano theory. Interesting.

  8. Hey Brett Cott aka HaHaHa aka jailbird This story is about you. You gonna pay all the seniors who’s money you stole.

Hey HaAHA aka Brett look you made the news when Fina arrested and convicted you. It’s nice to know that public sources still have this information. You gonna pay back any of the money you stole.
    Brett Cott
HARRISBURG –Bonusgate defendent Brett Cott received a sentence of 21 to 60 months on three charges this morning.
He also received three fines totaling $11,000 and was told to make restitution to the state of $50,000. The sentence was imposed by Dauphin County Judge Richard Lewis, who rejected Mr. Cott’s defense attorny’s plea for probation. Mr. Cott was found guilty on three charges: conflict of interest, theft of services, and conspiracy.
The office of state Attorney General Tom Corbett had argued for a stiff sentence, claiming Mr. Cott had seriously misused taxpayer dollars in running as many as 20 political campaigns in Western Pennsylvania from 2004 to 2006.
Mr. Cott’s attorney, Bryan Walk, had claimed that the prosecution was political and said that Mr. Cott was aqcuitted on 39 of 42 charges brought against him. However Judge Lewis said that Mr. Cott’s offenses were serious and deserved time in state prison.
    PDF
Read the sentencing memo for Brett Cott.
The judge said Mr. Cott spent most of his time that was paid for on taxpayer dollars “orchestrating and mastermining political activity.” The judge said “public money was used like monopoly money to run campaigns. Some potential candidates were scared off by this taxpayer funded juggernaut. The public was also victimized.”
He said probation was not an option because that “would demean the seriousness of the crimes.”
Deputy Attorney General Patrick Blessington said that Mr. Cott was paid salary of $223,000 plus bonuses of over $39,000 from 2004 to 2006 for basically running political campaigns. Mr. Cott is the first of the Bonusgate defendents to be sentenced.
Reactions to the sentence from prosecutors and the defense differed markedly.
The stiff sentence “sends a loud and clear message that this kind of activity [illegal use of taxpayers funds for political campaigns] will not be tolerated, and people will pay for their crimes,” said Deputy Attorney General E. Marc Costanzo.
In a brief submitted to the judge, the state contended that Mr. Cott’s “demeanor” wasn’t appropriate, meaning he hadn’t shown “contrition or remorse” for his illegal actions. He said Mr. Cott’s ongoing defiant attitude and lack of remorse were “appropriate legal factors” to be considered during the sentencing.
Lawyer Walk, however, said he was shocked and “extremely disappointed” by the severity of the sentence, which could keep Mr. Cott in state prison for up to five years.
“There are drug dealers and violent offenders who don’t get that much time,” he said. “We didn’t expect this.”
He said that since Mr. Cott had no previous arrests or convictions, and since the jury had found him not guilty on 39 of the 42 charges that the state brought against him, he should have gotten probation and no jail time.
Mr. Walk said the judge’s sentencing decision seemed to have been already prepared, even before this morning’s hearing, where the defense attorney spent almost an hour saying what a hard worker and good person Mr. Cott is.
Mr. Walk said that if two of the original Bonusgate defendants, former House Democratic staffers Mike Manzo and Jeff Foreman — who made a deal to cooperate with the state and testified against Mr. Cott, “don’t get sentences that are more than Mr. Cott’s, then justice is dead.”

  9. Interesting stuff from PennLive. Looks like we now know when Seth Williams and Frank Fina met. And we also now know that they don’t care about innocent people in prison for crimes they did not commit. True assholes!!

    From PennLive article —

“The committee’s work took four long years but, in 2011, it released its report, a 316-page tome that thoroughly analyzed the causes of wrongful convictions and offered a series of recommendations to fix the problem.

The committee’s recommendations included greater preservation of biological evidence, changes in witness interviews and photo lineups, state-based funding for indigent defense services, video and audio recording of interrogations, and compensation for people who are wrongly convicted.

Unfortunately, law enforcement, led by the District Attorneys’ association, released its own minority report.

That minority report diminished the committee’s recommendations and refused to even acknowledge the reality of innocent people in prison.

Signers of the minority report included Ed Marsico, Frank Fina, Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala, and Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams.

Perhaps most appalling of all, the minority report called the idea of compensating wrongly convicted people “preposterous.”

So ironic. Frank Fina is now suing the State for taxpayer $$$.

Frank Fina thinks he deserves taxpayer $$$ and has sued the State trying to get some. But – he doesn’t think innocent people who get sent to jail by corrupt prosecutors like him should be compensated. What a pathetic hypocrite. I’ll be happy when they wheel his broken down CLOWN CAR to Federal Prison.

  10. “deep-sixing” …..

BTW – have we ever gotten an answer as to why Fina deep-sixed the Mondesire investigation??

We know that Seth Williams and Mondesire were tight. We know that Williams hired Fina & The Corbett Pervs despite their hateful e-mails. Was that a quid-pro-quo too?

  11. Correct. Kane’s defense is going to be that she was set up. And it looks to me like she was. Josh Morrow was once a Johnny Doc staffer. They go way back.

Once they had Kane asking about whether they were allowed to release the report about Fina deep-siding the Mondesire investigation, they knew they had her where they wanted her. They released the documents themselves and used the e-mails to make it look like Kane did it. The whole grand jury was a like a stage performance. The goal was to publicly embarrass Kane with leaks (which they successfully did). And then they presented circumstantial evidence with no real proof. Read the GJ Report. It is a joke. There is NO EVIDENCE that AG Kane illegally leaked anything. Just he-said-she-said nonsense from Fina & The Corbett Pervs.

We know the network of Hate-gate assholes is a big one. There were a ton of people motivated to discredit Kane. We already know that Fina tried to help his former Grand Jury Judge illegally leak protected material. We know that Judge CC’s Fina on his e-mails to Craig & Angela at the INKY – where he discussed illegally leaking protected material.

Those ass-holes must be sweating bullets about this trial. They tried desperately to make sure it never happened. Nothing worked. And now we are almost there. The truth comes out at trials!!!

  12. Oh look, Pat. The pathetic RETARD troll is pretending that anyone here actually will have a substantive conversation with him. He must post from the rest-stop bathroom where he gives $10 blowies.

Pat — Totally agree re: trial. I really hope the D.A. doesn’t drop the case (which is exactly what he would do if he was smart). I really want to see the trial. POPCORN is already on order.

John Dougherty’s motive would be to protect his little brother who was running for Supreme Court? That would make a lot of sense. Because Kevin Dougherty (the little brother) was involved in Hate-gate and did swap offensive e-mails.

Someone posted here that Kevin Dougherty spent his first week on the job at the Supreme Court making phone calls on behalf of fellow Hate-gate participant – Michael Eakin. Is that true?

  13. Actually part of it was thrown out, another part was allowed to proceed. Also the lawsuit from the HR resource has nothing to do with Fina and those people so explain how they ALL are greedy perverts?

  14. If I am Kane, I am very encouraged by this poll. Her jury is going to be made up of regular people like the ones who voted in this poll. If, even after the vicious smear campaign, 50% of the people want her to stay, that bodes very well for her beating the trumped-up criminal case.

After all – in criminal court, the jury would have to be unanimous to convict the AG. There will be more than one person able to see through the D.A.’s nonsense case. They can’t even prove it was Kane that actually leaked the document. And their star witness has told two totally different stories to the authorities. Oh — and there is the fact that the star witness is connected to Johnny Doc, who had a motive to discredit AG Kane.

This trial is going to be a doozie.

  15. You boys done?

Here’s the bottom line — The greedy perverts filing the lawsuits are the ones responsible for these legal bills. I think Ha3 is correct. The only one that has made it to court has been TOSSED OUT BY THE JUDGE.

Claude Thomas should have to pay the State back.

  16. Leave it to a guy who hates women and kids to make accusations. Go back to defending Kane who is fine if her sister sends hate email and who promotes people who harass women. I mean it’s not like those are bad things are they?

  17. SpongeBob-

So the reason you aren’t concerned about the Child Predator unit is because you think it’s not run aggressively/competently.

    Interesting.

Most people would say they weren’t concerned because they weren’t child predators. But, you just stated that you don’t think they could catch you or would just lose the case.

    That explains a lot. Thanks.

  18. David, Kane is and history will prove this the worst elected AG Pennsylvania has ever had. Preate had more honor than she does. And her Child Predator team doesn’t concern me one bit, since it seems her sister who runs it is an absentee leader and for the first time the the AGs office history has lost cases. I guess she is too busy sensed perverted hate filled email to have time to run the team. But sure Kane is great for reasons like that. Yeah totally.

  19. Montco pol

I don’t know who Philly Lawyer is.

But, your claim that I’d be in trouble for making such a post (pretending to give myself advice) is pretty ludicrous.

I’m sure the police are going to rush right out, and wake up a judge in the middle of the night, to get an IP address search warrant for an anonymous poster. Which police department would have jurisdiction here? What if the poster was (shock) not really from Philly, or even the state? Quick, call the FBI and tell them to drop everything.

Of course, Philly is a nickname for Philadelphia, and not the actual name of a city.

Let me know how it all works out in your unicorn filled world.

    SpongeBob-

Let’s agree that Kane is the best AG we’ve ever had, and that the odds of her child predator task force coming after you won’t keep you awake after she completes her term in January.

  20. Dear lord these threads just devolve into insanity. If only we could all just agree that Kane is terrible no one would fight.

  21. Philly lawyer …….. You and I both know you’re not a lawyer just a figment of Diano’s imagination. So if you post as Philly lawyer and give legal advice and you are not an attorney that’s a crime. Better yet the person posting as such will be identified by IP. Now that a private citizen files this complaint with the Philly Police Department. The Police that Diano has maligned have probable cause to execute a search warrant for the IP address a second warrant on the server and that quick you are identified. If you’re a friend of Diano’s tough luck you’re gonna take the hit. If you are Diano you’re getting locked up. Oh yeah since you said Philly lawyer and I was in Philly when I received them the Philly DA’s Office Frank Fina has prosecutorial jurisdiction.

Oh by the way let me know if you need to know the name of a good defense lawyer.

  22. SpongeBob

Feel free to contact the moderator, and ask if I’ve made any recent requests to delete your posts.

Be aware that by attempting to extend our debates into the real world, or even attempting to identify relatives (particularly minors) is a breach of reasonable rules and etiquette, even on a site this lax on the insults and innuendo.

If you had any brains, you would know where the line is. My posting under my real name draws a line that anonymous doesn’t enjoy, for obvious reasons.

Post under your REAL name and level the playing field (if you aren’t the REAL coward here).

  23. SpongeBob

What posts did I have deleted? none today.

Guess you are pissing off the moderators more than usual.

  24. Typical David. Having posts deleted again. You have proven yourself to be nothing me than a loudmouth blowhard who can’t take criticism. You can dish it but can’t take it. Well played as usual having posts deleted.

  25. Threats? What threats? I have even wished him well in posts. I think the police might laugh him out of the station. Although they might not find his view on police as something that would make them very happy. I have not nor would I ever threaten David physically. I have threatened to try to impact his business by telling and showing people hateful and insensitive things he has written. So feel free to contact law enforcement. I would love for you to demonstrate how I have threatened you.

  26. philly lawyer

He keeps digging a deeper hole for himself (and assumes he isn’t already being traced and investigated).

Here’s an example of the minefield he’s in. There are over two dozen people in the voter file that share my last name (two others matching my first name as well). SpongeBob has no idea which are related by blood, marriage, or unrelated. He also risks picking up the names of underage/unregistered nieces/nephews. He may also run afoul of my cousin who lost her teenage son in a tragic accident by referring to him out of context.

And I’m not even talking about my relatives in other states.

The trap is closing on SpongeBob. Don’t forget, he’s been claiming inside knowledge on the Kane case since last summer.

Did I forget to mention I passed his IP address info to them last summer? Oops.

  27. My advice for David, assuming he is a real person using his real name, would be to alert local Police. They will determine the true identity of the threatening poster and, at the very least, pay him a visit and interview him. They will also image his hard-drive.

  28. SpongeBob

    Keep guessing.

You’ve made it clear you are doing random searches trying to match my name, and pulling in more noise than signal, when you get hits on other people with the same or similar names. Must be all that Spy Kids training. Since, I know the real answers, it’s easy to see where you keep going wrong.

BTW, word of caution, when you mistake children for adults, you may find that you’ve given me the ammunition to show you are a pedophile/stalker and shut you down for good. I’m sure you’ll ignore this warning, which will make the case against you stronger.

    Keep digging yourself a hole.

  29. garet jax

SpongeBob is a hater of women in authority, and is preoccupied by male prison sex.

  30. Brett is a felon who blames Frank Fina for the shame that Brett brought upon his family for being a no good criminal felon. Kane hates Fina so Brett loves Kane. Brett is also unstable as evidenced by his need to post under so many names here. I guess in prison he never learned anything other than how to to be a penile pin cushion.

  31. Mrs. SpongeBob-

Try to find someone to move the trailer so he can’t find you. He might try to bring the trailer to the rest stop and deduct it on his taxes as a “home office”.

  32. Mrs. SpongeBob-

I highly recommend you put him out of your misery with a pillow over his head while he’s sleeping. Giving his postings here, no jury in world would doubt your “self-defense” plea or your “doing for the good of humanity” plea.

  33. Damn. DD just keeps OWNING the pathetic RETARD troll. If he wasn’t such a FOXtard loser, I might feel bad for him. I definitely feel bad for Mrs. SpongeBob.

  34. SpongeBob is not “sworn in” because that requires giving your name first.

  35. Unlike you Brett I am not sworn in here and have to answer nothing. You on the other hand. How did that trial go for you again?

  36. Wow Brett has gone full tilt with his not so little buddy David jumping in and then of course all of Brett’s other identities…I wish I could say I was surprised but it seems Brett’s family being so ashamed of him has sent him over the deep end. Now David on the other hand I can only assume Jackie and Steven were constantly embarrassed by you and your antics.

  37. I’ll bet Bill Clinton now regrets campaigning for Kathleen Kane four years ago.

I hope the media asks him about it when he comes back to campaign for his wife for the general election.

  38. I have reached out to and met with several of SpongeBob’s customers. Do NOT be surprised if they are no longer customers!!

  39. Bungy-

Good thing you didn’t mention with rest stop to help his business.

  40. Smokey, you might want to first try making recall something that can be done in PA. There’s no way to do it as of now.

  41. There should have been a recall election for Kathleen Kane last fall. She would have been gone by now….and she wouldn’t be able to squander taxpayer money.

At least one thing is for sure: Kathleen Kane is finished as a politician. She will never be able to be elected to any office ever again.

  42. My understanding is that there are MANY even more disturbing material distributed by Fina & The Corbett Pervs. Apparently, the videos included graphic violence against women and a 100-year-old woman engaged in intercourse.

  43. Wait until she drops another porn email bomb on politicians and judges. Her numbers will drop further because so many corrupt people hate what she is doing to expose them. Go ahead Kane, stick it to them.

  44. At least half the people get that she has been the victim of a Repervlican-led smear campaign!!!
