Rafferty Adds Seven More County Endorsements

john-raffertyState Sen. John Rafferty continues to gather support for his Attorney General campaign.

Last month, the candidate revealed dozens of officials who are backing him. Over the weekend, he announced the endorsement of six additional County Commissioners: Lawrence County Commissioners Dan Vogler and Bob Del Signor; McKean County Commissioners Carol Duffy and Al Pingie and Northumberland County Commissioners Sam Schiccatano and Rick Shoch.

He also won the support of Erie County Controller Mary Schaaf.

“I’m grateful to have the endorsement and support of so many county commissioners and county council members. These leaders know that as attorney general I will work with them to help protect our schools, streets and communities,” said Rafferty. “They know that I have the right legal training and experience to restore integrity to the attorney general’s office.”

Rafferty is running against prosecutor Joe Peters in the Republican primary.

  1. I suspect it’s easier to get endosements when most of the state is controlled by republicants who screw the middle class to help fund tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations that fund their election campaigns. If you aren’t earning 100K annually you’re an idiot to vote for losers like him. Want some cheese with your whine? Joe Sestak is a good and honest man more concerned about you and your family than you’ll admit if you’re a republican. Joe Sestak served our country honorably for 31 years as a Navy Admiral…Remember kids, a.k.a.republican voter’s..Stupid is as stupid does.

  2. With the a lot of endorsements here I’m thinking of that of he will win the primary very easily against Joe Peters on Tuesday April 26th 2016.

  3. Let’s see if PoliticsPA gives Sestak this same coverage for his endorsement by the Phila Inquirer.
