Erin McClelland has at least one thing to be thankful for this week. In our poll of PoliticsPA readers, we asked who Democrats should nominate to take on incumbent freshman Congressman Republican Keith Rothfus in Pennsylvania’s 12th district.
Businesswoman Erin McClelland and Rep.Murtha’s former Chief of Staff John Hugya are the only two Democratic candidates who have formally announced their entry into the race.
McClelland won our readers’ poll in a landslide with 293 votes, over 60% of the total. Hugya, meanwhile received only 135 votes. 50 respondents chose someone else.

I just mean that her facial expression in the pictures I’ve seen of her always appears to be kind of a dead stare at the camera… I don’t know if that’s the result of airbrushing, antidepressants, a lousy photographer, or something else
And yes, I would also ask the question about a male candidate with the same issue.
KingOfSpades, would you make a comment like that about a male candidate? And what exactly is that meant to imply, “medicated?” Please do explain.
Is it just me or do her photos make her look like she’s highly medicated?
