Reader Poll: Mail Ballots

Mail-In Ballot

Ever since its adoption prior to the 2020 elections, mail-in voting through Act 77 has been a flashpoint for politicians.

In the fall of 2019, everyone was on board with the new practice for the Commonwealth.

With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March, 2020, it appeared that the state was one step ahead of the virus to enable those who did not want to go to their polling place to still cast their vote.

Problems rose their ugly head after the 202 presidential election, as Donald Trump refused to concede the race to Joe Biden and tried to impede their peaceful transfer of power.

Despite the lies and lack of evidence, supporters of the former president have zeroed in on mail ballots as the root problem. Pennsylvania lawmakers have joined in as well with action taken by the courts allowing mail-in voting to take place in 2021.

What do you think of mail-in voting? The proof is in the pudding.

Did you request a mail-in ballot this fall?

Polls are open until 7 AM on Thursday morning.

  1. MAGA will be targeting the drop off boxes for vandalism and worse. Also I wouldn’t trust my ballot in the hands of rogue postal employees. The Dems are being dumb by still encouraging mail in ballots. These ballots are going to be targeted in the fall. If you must vote by paper ballot drive it to your county election office.

  2. I do think it’s amusing that the Mastriano campaign hands out flyers encouraging mail-in voting as safe, secure and endorsed by the Republican Party of PA.

  3. I’ve voted mail in ever since Doug Mastriano voted to create it. The idea of rigged vote boxes is funny! Only a group of old geezers could think that with all the video cameras both from phones and set up on properties someone could alter ballots or steal ballots and no computers or cameras would be all the wiser. At least that is what “Q” told me!

    1. I agree. This is why a mail-in ballot voter should complete their ballot soon after receiving it, follow the directions provided, and hand deliver it to the county elections office or a more convenient drop box.

    1. I mean, that’s why it’s called the -big- Lie. No proof. Zip. It’s like the Easter bunny for trumplicans who ran out of beer to cry in and wives to grab.

      1. There is a substantial difference between “No Evidence” and “Not Accepting Evidence.” I guess all the videos clearly showing unlawful ballot drop-offs & Mishandling is a big “nothing-burger” if your team benefits…

        1. WHERE are all the videos? Do ANY of them show that votes were submitted by ineligible voters? Republic Party people just want to make it harder to vote, because they can’t win if everybody votes.
