Yes its time. While some Republican politicians are wary, most rank and file Republicans support legalization.

The horse has left the stable and, in essence, pot has already been legalized as so many are smoking it that if we had an accurate count we’d be shocked at the number. If you see a question on every new patient form asking if the patient uses recreational drugs, you got to do a gut check and face facts. I have no interest in smoking pot but reality is that it’s so widespread that there is a need for government to regulate and tax it. Pot smoking is not going away.
