We ask you our readers.

  1. A debt of gratitude is in order for sharing this data. I truly like your blog entry all that much. You have truly shared an educational and intriguing blog entry with individuals.. His Secret Obsession

  2. Dave Reed is exactly what our commonwealth needs in a governor. He’s a conservative and pragmatic leader. He’s a uniter, someone who will govern intelligently. And if he runs, he’ll win.

  3. You cannot stay on my blog if you don’t like this guy. That’s what press freedom and integrity is all about.

  4. Best for Reed to stay where he is and look to 2022, unless he gets a chance to move to the state senate in the meantime. The big barracudas will be out for the 2018 contests, and Reed will have little chance at anything except antagonizing them. It’s likely he’ll have to wait another four years for his next big chance. In the meantime it won’t be a loss, either for him or the state.

  5. If your family can survive the long hours and time away. Or even moving away from so many friends then I say Governor. You would be great. A real hard decision to make. Listen to what God speaks to you. Best Wishes

  6. those crazy teabaggers turzai and Wagner will try to undercut reed and stab him in the back.

  7. Dave Reed has demonstrated the skillful art of government leadership through collaboration, understanding the issues, and causes and consequences of those issues, and fortitude without compromising his principles and the strong values of his constituency. Pennsylvania needs Dave Reed to run and win the governor’s race to restore integrity and fiscal responsibility to governing the Commonwealth.

  8. Reed is fantastic and would do a great job as speaker for a few more terms, but if our only other choice for gov is Wagner, he definitely needs to save us from that nutty right wing obstructionist. Run Dave run! If Meehan runs for senate than we’ll have an awesome team in 2018.

  9. Great. Just what we need… another career politician who never held a real job in his life and who never ran a competitive race. Does he even know how to campaign?

  10. The poll left out the best answer: trade faces with someone who doesn’t look like a complete moron. We already have Wagner in the race to take care of that demographic.

  11. I’m a disbarred attorney named Frank Little. Can’t keep my law license but I criticize other people’s spelling.

  12. GOPGaurdian (sic): Two times and you still cannot spell. The GOP must love you poorly educated types.

  13. With all due respect to Reed, his community and family first platform won’t be polarizing enough to win him a statewide primary. What’s sad is that Reed is exactly who this state needs as its governor.

  14. When I heard Wagner was running for governor I got scared for the party. I don’t think Wagner is nearly the right choice, but when I heard Reed was considering a run it was a step in the wrong direction. We need someone who can truly unite the party and the state. The only good choices are Jim Cawley or Pat Tokmey. Anyone else will crumble under the weight of Wolf’s lying campaign strategy.

  16. He won’t win a statewide primary by copying Clinton’s theme (“Stronger Together”). Reed isn’t ready to swim in the deep waters. Best bet for him is to wait for Don White to die of liver failure, then set his sites on the upper chamber. Or stay on the Speaker track. Either way, until he learns what he doesn’t know, stay small.
