Rendell Endorses Domb for Philly City Council

EdRendellEd Rendell, the former Mayor of Philadelphia and Governor of Pennsylvania, is endorsing another candidate for Philly City Council.

Businessman and first-time candidate Allan Domb received the ex-Governor’s support.

“Allan Domb achieved big things in Philadelphia and as a Councilman, he will be a leader for all of Philadelphia,” Rendell said. “Allan helped create thousands of new homes and good-paying jobs, and brought new life to our city.”

“I am incredibly proud to receive the support of a leader like Ed Rendell. There is no one who did more to rescue Philadelphia and jump start the renaissance neighborhoods across the city are seeing today,” responded Domb. “I was proud to work with him when he was Mayor and I look forward to bringing the same sort of common sense, “big ideas, big accomplishments” credo he brought to the Mayor’s race to City Council.”

Rendell has previously endorsed Sherrie Cohen and Paul Steinke for at-Large spots on the City Council.
