Three of the ten Republican officials currently charged with using taxpayer resources to fund campaign efforts will plead guilty this week, according to reports published by news outlets throughout the state.
Samuel Stokes and Don McClintock, who worked for former House Speaker John Perzel, will enter their pleas on Wednesday. Perzel’s former Chief of Staff, Paul Towhey, will do so on Friday, the Inquirer’s Amy Worden is reporting.
The former House Speaker, charged with 82 counts including conspiracy and theft, is scheduled to stand trial beginning next month.
