State Rep. and Republican nominee Tom Killion has released his first TV commercial in the race to replace Dominic Pileggi.
The thirty-second biographical spot, titled “I Grew Up Here”, seeks to introduce voters to Killion.
“This isn’t just where I happen to live and work,” Killion states. “It’s a big part of who I am.”
He goes on to mention that he raised his family and ran his business in the area. Interestingly, he did not mention that he has represented the 168th district in the State House since 2003 despite the fact that there is overlap with the 9th State Senate district.
“This is my home, and as a State Senator, I’ll do everything I can to get making it a better place for all of us,” Killion concluded.
Killion is running against Democratic nominee Marty Molloy in the April 26th special election.
The 9th district consists of parts of Chester and Delaware Counties.

Yes, Train wreck, he should say something profound, like “Making Delco/Chesco Great Again”. That would be much better.
So yeah, well that is about the most vacuous bullshit I’ve ever seen. “Vote for me, I’ll make things better, because I grew up here.” Ok.
