The 7th Congressional District will be one of the more closely watched races in the Keystone State this fall.

Steve Irwin is a corporate attorney. Summer Lee is a progressive state representative. Jerry Dickinson is a constitutional law professor. It is game-on in the 12th congressional district. 

The Congressional Leadership Fund and the related American Action Network – both of whom traditionally support House Republicans and their policies – are dramatically outraising their Democratic counterparts.

A new twist has developed in the race for the Democratic nomination for the 12th District U.S. Senate seat. A representative from U.S. District Judge Cathy Bissoon’s office has confirmed that Bissoon did not sign a petition in support of Pittsburgh attorney Steve Irwin.

Some might refer to them as unicorns. Matt Cartwright. Democrat. Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties. Brian Fitzpatrick, Republican, Bucks County. So how’d they do it? And perhaps, more importantly for 2022, can they do it again?
