U.S. Rep. Mike Doyle’s, the Democratic incumbent from Pennsylvania’s 14th Congressional district, released his fourth quarter fundraising numbers Monday. They showed that the Congressman raised $114,000 from October until the end of 2011. He has also reported just over $271,000 cash on hand to begin the election year.

Rep. Tim Murphy will start 2012 with a serious war chest, his campaign announced Tuesday morning. The incumbent Republican boasts slightly over $1 million on hand and brought in $264,000 during the fourth quarter of 2011.

Charlie Dent, incumbent of the Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional district, released his FEC financial report for 2011 on Sunday, Jan. 29.

U.S. Congressman Tim Holden, the incumbent representing Pennsylvania’s 17th Congressional district, recently released his financial figures in a Federation Election Commission report, including contributions he received during the fourth quarter of 2011.

Luzerne County Councilman Stephen Urban, who made headlines last year when he switched from Republican to Democrat, is circulating nominating petitions for U.S. Congress. He would face incumbent Rep. Tim Holden and Democratic primary challenger Matt Cartwright, an attorney from Scranton.

Former congressional staffer Evan Feinberg raised just $50,000 so far in his Republican primary challenge to incumbent Rep. Tim Murphy (PA-18). This is in comparison to Murphy’s $200,000 he raised in the third quarter of 2011, the latest filing available for the congressman.

Rep. Patrick Meehan (R-Pa.) took in about $212,000, the most of all GOP freshman. Reps. Sean Duffy (R-Wis.) and Michael Grimm(R-N.Y.) both got just over $200,000 in PAC money. Reps. Francisco Canseco (R-Texas) and Nan Hayworth (R-N.Y.) round out to the top five.

Today, Sen. Pat Toomey endorsed Keith Rothfus who will face the winner of the Democratic primary between Rep. Altmire and Rep. Critz for the 12th congressional district.
