President Obama is coming to central Pennsylvania. The White House Press office just put out a statement saying the president will visit on Wednesday, February 2nd. The exact location hasn’t been announced yet.
PoliticsPA has learned that Allegheny County Council President Rich Fitzegerald will report more than $750,000 cash on hand when he files his campaign finance report next week.
Senator Bob Casey is about to step into the Congressional spotlight. It was announced this afternoon that the Senator will chair the JEC, which is charged with overseeing economic conditions and economic policy and includes members from each the Senate and the House of Representatives.
Toomey will serve on the Banking; Budget; Commerce, Science and Transportation; and Joint Economic committees in the 112th Congress. Hay may be just a freshman, but PoliticsPA thinks it’s a matter of weeks until he begins shaping GOP policy. Tops.
