Shapiro has a commanding 15 percentage-point advantage over Mastriano in the InsiderAdvantage/Fox 29 survey, while the Attorney General tops the state senator from Franklin County by 3.4 points in a Phillips Academy poll.
Shapiro received a majority of the responses in the Fox 29 poll, garnering 52 percent to just 37 percent for Mastriano. Libertarian candidate Matt Hackenburg polled at 3%, while seven percent indicated that they were unsure or undecided.
The InsiderAdvantage poll surveyed 550 likely voters with a margin of error at 4.2 percent.
The Democrat’s lead was much smaller in the Phillips Academy survey with Shapiro pulling in 45.9 percent to Mastriano’s 42.5 percent. The undecided numbers were much higher in this poll at 11.6 percent.
