Patrick Murphy picked up the endorsement of Armstrong County District Attorney Scott Andreassi and Sheriff Larry Crawford. Murphy also announced a rally hosted by Pittsburgh City Councilman Bill Peduto. The two main Philadelphia newspapers endorsed Kane while the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette endorsed Murphy.
