Tort Reform Moves to Final Vote

A final vote in the PA legislature will occur early next week in Corbett’s push for tort reform. The “Fair Share” bill, sponsored by Republican Curt Schroder, would rid the state of its joint-and-several liability law, which forces a defendant to make all of a payout in the case that a co-defendant is financially unable.
