With the help of 6 Pa. women, the PA Republican Party is taking a swipe at the President Obama – and his campaign’s “Life of Julia” feature.
The general election ad wars are officially on in Pennsylvania. Barack Obama’s campaign rolled out this 60-second spot, called “Go,” a broad summary of the President’s re-election argument.
Despite a drop in unemployment numbers in a newly released jobs report, presumptive Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney said President Barack Obama’s policies continue to stifle entrepreneurship to an audience of around 300 at a Pittsburgh-area business.
Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are meeting today in Pittsburgh, and Democrats from there to DC are opening fire. Standard Romney protest events are super-charged by efforts to preempt any possible endorsement by Santorum.
Just weeks after suspending his campaign, Santorum is putting himself out there again in endorsing Nebraska’s Attorney General Jon Bruning, a conservative running for U.S. Senate.
Peter Towey didn’t have too much time to relax after last week’s primary election. Within two days, the veteran GOP operative had taken the reins of Republican coordinated efforts in Pennsylvania.

Barack Obama’s lead in Pennsylvania has grown over the past month, a poll released today by Quinnipiac indicates. The results reflect a 5 point swing in the President’s favor since Q-Pac’s poll in early April which showed him within the margin of error, 45 percent to 42 for Romney.
Newt Gingrich is out of the race, and GOP eyes are set on the fall. A big step toward Republican unity will reportedly happen Friday, when former contender Rick Santorum and presumptive nominee Mitt Romney meet in Pittsburgh. Update: He’s having a public event, too, at a nearby company.
Governor Tom Corbett recently spoke about his now-infamous remarks regarding the proposed ultrasound mandate. President Barack Obama’s campaign and the PA Democrats jumped all over it.
