Select Committee Wants to Talk With Mastriano

The January 6 Commission has hit closer to home with its latest subpoenas that include gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano.

The commission sent subpoenas to six people on Tuesday, including Mastriano (R-33) and fellow Pennsylvanian Michael A. Roman. Roman, a long-time Republican operative, was the director of election day operations for former President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign. Also receiving subpoenas are Gary Michael Brown, the deputy director; Laura Cox, a former Republican state lawmaker from Michigan;Kelli Ward, Arizona GOP chair, and Mark W. Finchem, a Jan. 6 attendee who was in touch with “Stop The Steal” organizers.

Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-Miss.), chair of the Select Committee, sent a letter to Mastriano stating, “Based on publicly available information and information produced to the Select Committee, we believe that you have documents and information that are relevant to the Select Committee’s investigation.”

“We understand you participated in these activities based on assertions of voter fraud and other asserted irregularities and based on a stated belief that under the U.S. Constitution the ‘state legislature has the sole authority to direct the manner of selecting delegates to the Electoral College,’” the letter continued. “We have an interest in understanding these activities and the theories that motivated them.”

“Based on your public statements, we understand that you were present during the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and that you witnessed ‘agitators … getting in the face of the police’ and ‘agitators … start pushing the police up the [Capitol] steps,’” the letter says.

The subpoena demands Mastriano share documents by March 1 and appear for a deposition March 10.

Mastriano and Roman are not the first Pennsylvanians to be called before the commission. Last month, Bill Bachenberg and Lisa Patton, chairpersons of a group that aimed to submit rival Pennsylvania electoral votes for former President Trump, were subpoenaed. The committee has also requested to speak with U.S. representative Scott Perry (R-10).

The letters to all six witnesses can be found here.

  1. Trump cheaters cannot get over that their cheating was not enough to overcome actual voters. Go Biden.

  2. This subpoena may put Sen Mastriano over the top to get R Gov Nomination. It solidifies Lou and Mastriano as leaders of the pack. Corman would win R nomination had Trump not cried election steal but once that happened everything changed with R’s.

    1. Trump is guilty of nothing. He is a man of integrity. Its those damn snowflake communists. We need more taxcuts and more drilling on federal land.

    2. January 6th Committee is bringing you the TRUTH…. AND YOU TRUMP ASS KISSING PUSSIES CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH. He was flushing documents down the SH!TTER for Christ’s sake. Trump and his followers need to be eradicated from politics NOW!!!!

As we can see you are a Baabaa sheep and only watch One Source of news. No fraud, nothing to see here. I guess that is why Arizona is pulled there electoral votes since they found so much fraud in their election 2020. But you probably didn’t hear that because you only listen to one source. Here in Pennsylvania at Indiana County alone there was 150 voters backfield into the SURE system. 64 mail-in ballets recorded that was sent out of state. And then in May 2021 election 288 registrations removed from voter rolls between the week of the election and February 1st 2021. People were still getting mail-in ballets with out requesting them in the mail for the 21 election in November. I know this because I worked the polls.
Hey ya trumps Flushing papers down the toilet and they called in an engineer to take care of it, LOL. Oh we can handle the truth when you actually have some. It’s you guys that can’t handle what is truth when it slaps you in the face. Take a look at what just came out about Hillary Clinton. What your maybe candidate for president 2024 says “It’s funny, the more trouble Trump gets into the wilder the charges and conspiracy theories about me seem to get”,’ Ms Clinton said. But let’s not talk about conspiracy theories about Russia so we don’t bring up any more light on your own problems Hillary,
The Clinton Foundation. We’ll just change the subject back over to Trump’s so called problems to avoid actually discussing your own.
And what about your so called president that’s in office now, doing a bang-up job. Shall we dig into his dirt, there’s a big long list there too. They are good at hiding their own corruption. The Obama, Clinton, Biden and their followers need to be the ones eradicated from politics wouldn’t ???? you think. Great Liars❗
