September 29th Playbook

A pair of polls show former VP Joe Biden with a several point advantage over President Donald Trump in PA, while VP Mike Pence will head to Lancaster County to host a Presidential Debate Watch Party on Tuesday evening. Here is the Playbook.

Pennsylvania Congressional Vulnerability: September 2020 Ratings: Four seats, two held by Republicans and two by Democrats, are considered to be “vulnerable” in the September congressional vulnerability rankings.

NYT/Siena College Poll: Biden 49, Trump 40: Likely voters sided with Biden over Trump on handling the coronavirus pandemic, maintaining law and order, choosing a Supreme Court Justice, and national security. The lone issue of the five asked in the poll that voters sided with the president was on the economy.

Fox News Poll: Biden 51, Trump 44: When likely voters were asked who they would trust on the following issues, Biden has an advantage over Trump on policing and criminal justice (50-to-44), nominating the next Supreme Court Justice (51-to-42), and coronavirus (54-to-37). The lone issue of the four asked in the poll that voters sided with the president was on the economy, with Trump leading Biden (50-to-46).

Pence To Host Presidential Debate Watch Party in Lancaster County: Pence’s visit on Tuesday comes just three days after President Donald Trump hosted a rally at the Harrisburg International Airport.

PA1: Finello Ad Links Fitzpatrick To Trump On Healthcare and Tax Reform: The Democratic challenger’s second TV spot accuses Fitzpatrick of voting with Trump when it mattered most.

GOP PAC/Trafalgar Poll: Biden 48.1, Trump 45.9: Biden’s lead has shrunk in comparison to a July poll commissioned by the GOP PAC that showed the former VP leading the president by just over 5 points.
