September 30th Playbook

Former Vice President Joe Biden is set to make campaign appearances in western Pennsylvania today, while Vice President Mike Pence rallied supporters on Tuesday evening in Lancaster County prior to the debate. Here is the Playbook. 

GOP Poll: Shapiro 46.7, Heidelbaugh 43.2: The GOP friendly pollster said that the Attorney General’s race is tightening.

Dem PAC Poll: DePasquale 50, Perry 43: The survey from House Majority PAC shows Eugene DePasquale leading Rep. Scott Perry by 7 points after “leaners” are taken into consideration. Former VP Joe Biden holds a 7 point advantage over President Trump in the district.

Cook Political Report: Lamb’s Race Moves From Likely Dem to Leans Dem: Rep. Conor Lamb’s race is now the third in the state in the Leans Democratic category.

WaPo/ABC News Poll: Biden 54, Trump 45: A majority of registered voters in the state disapprove of Trump’s handling of the presidency and his response to COVID-19, while a majority of voters approve of his handling of the economy.

Biden Train Tour To Travel Through Western PA: Former Vice President Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better Express” train tour will make stops in Pittsburgh, Greensburg, New Alexandria, Latrobe, and Johnstown on Wednesday.

Philadelphia Firefighters’ and Paramedics’ Union Endorses Trump: Philadelphia Firefighters’ and Paramedics’ Union, Local 22 of the International Association of Fire Fighters, broke with the International Association of Fire Fighters to endorse Trump over Biden.
