The Lancaster Dems see McCabe as well suited to address various issues facing the nation, while the Lancaster County GOP says McCabe betrayed the FBI and slammed the Democrats for inviting him to speak.

  1. I can’t afford a subscription to PLS, but it is bulls*#t that the PA Department of State conducted a secret re-examination of a voting machine that can double-print ballots and has a ton of other problems.

There is NO reason whatsoever that at least some of this re-examination of the ExpressVote XL voting machine was not open to the public. They will be used in public in the counties that were fooled into buying these expensive monsters, so why not test them in public as well? WHAT ARE THEY HIDING??

Acting Secretary Bookvar and her staff should be ashamed. Even if they were not bought outright by vendor ES&S (already known for crooked lobbying in Philadelphia) it sure doesn’t look right.

  2. Andrew McCabe being denied a pension at the last minute is an injustice. Our government needs to be free from political whimsy because we need good men and women in positions of responsibility to make state and federal and local government work. In the name of fairness the courts need to resolve this matter so that Mr. McCabe get his duly earned pension asap. If he wants to address Dems, so be it. Nothing wrong with that.
