Dr. Bob Solomon, who was running for the Democratic nomination in the 18th Congressional district, announced he will run in the newly drawn 14th district this year.

“I’ve been an emergency physician for 32 years and treated tens of thousands of uninsured and underinsured Americans in hospitals across the 14th District,” Solomon said.  

Solomon also announced the endorsements of the American College of Emergency Physicians and Clinicians for Progressive Care in his release announcing the change in district.  \

The new 14th district includes parts of Greene, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland counties.
