Susquehanna Poll: Clinton 45 Trump 43; McGinty 47 Toomey 41

hillary-clinton-happyIt’s been a busy day.

So far, three polls of Pennsylvania voters have been released and a fourth is on the way. The first two (CNN and Monmouth) found Clinton and McGinty ahead and so has the new Susquehanna survey.

They have Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump 45% to 43%. Gary Johnson and Jill Stein each snagged 2%.

On the Senate side, Katie McGinty has a six point advantage over Pat Toomey 47% to 41%. Libertarian Ed Clifford received 5%.

Last month, Clinton and McGinty were each up four in their races.

Clinton got a 40/52 favorable/unfavorable rating from respondents while Trump’s was 37/54.

This survey was conducted by Susquehanna Polling and Research and commissioned by ABC27. It was done through IVR/automated calls to landlines and live agent interviews from October 31st to November 1st and reached 681 likely voters. The margin of error is +/- 3.76%.

  1. Comey serves a term of 10 years. He cannot be fired by the president. He can only be removed by impeachment. Probably why he sent that letter to Congress last week. Not telling them when he said he would might have gotten him impeached if it came out that he held it until after the election.

  2. This poll has no relationship to Susquehanna University. It is Susquehanna Polling & Research run by Jimmy Lee. He generally polls for the Republicans. Get your facts right, Nick

  3. Many happy returns in Hillary’s future. Election returns. Now that the FBI has shot its wad and still not knocker her out of the race. Comey must be sending out Resumes by now.

  4. 52% of those polled identify as Democrats as Clinton and McGinty get only 45% and 47%, respectively.

  5. Toomey is just another obstructionist who’d rather spend Congress’s time and taxpayers’ dollars on partisan witch hunts instead of working together to solve problems.

  6. Wow. People must REALLY dislike Pat Toomey. Because his negative ads have been very good.
